Make yourself at home.
You control your own character. The people around you continue living their own lives.
1. Choose your household
For a fresh start, choose your family members, their ages and appearances, and the number of bedrooms and bathrooms. The short introduction explains your place in the house. Starting a new household replaces the current story; returning players can continue their existing save.
2. Move around and use the house
| Action | Control |
|---|---|
| Move forward, back and sideways | W, A, S, D |
| Turn your first-person view | Left/right arrows, or drag the view |
| Use nearby furniture or talk | Look toward it and press E, or use the interaction button |
| Play on a phone | Touch movement buttons and drag to look |
| Find your bearings or place furniture | Open House map; use the map for building |
| Control time | Pause, normal speed or fast speed above the house |
Choose an activity to add it to your queue. Your character walks there before doing it. Up to six activities can be queued. Manual movement cancels your current queue, so let an activity finish when you want its result. Shared furniture may be occupied; your character can wait for it to become available.
3. Try a manageable routine
Use the fridge for food, a bed or sofa for rest, and the shower for hygiene. Check Energy, Fullness, Hygiene and Stress. The shared pantry has a basic meal even when your cash is low. Work a café shift before 15:00, or use the desk to build skills. At 18:00 or later you can go to bed and start another day.
The café shift has a hands-on serving activity. Other activities happen in the house. The clock runs while the visible, unpaused game is running; it does not simulate days while the tab is hidden or closed.
4. Join family life
Residents may meet to talk, help with homework, play or disagree. Walk over to join a conversation, answer an invitation, or make a specific promise. Keeping a promise requires showing up and completing the shared activity. Setting an honest boundary is a valid choice.
After the introductory household story, a resident may ask about a difficult household situation. Walk over to respond. If you offer practical help, complete the queued task and return to check in before their plans change. Residents can make their own plans if you cannot help. Practical support does not cure a condition.
5. Work toward your own place
Open Goals & house details to see your current moving fund, skills, work shifts, balanced days and any other requirements for your chosen path. The career, learning and roommate paths have different targets. Clear unpaid house dues before signing a lease. The shared house fund is separate from your own moving savings.
A balanced day means you ate, kept hygiene at least 40 and ended with stress at most 65. These numbers are game balancing, not health advice. There is no requirement to make every day perfect.
